Default UTEC Question (should be an easy one)

I was looking on TurboXS's website where it shows what they use for their 11 sec car and it lists both the UTEC and a manual boost controller. I was under the impression that the UTEC controlled boost. Is the boost controller neccessary? Is there any benefit to having the boost controller with the UTEC? Is the manual boost controller any better or worse than an elecronic one such as the blitz SBC-R?

Ok, so is it worth it to spend the extra money for a electronic boost controller or just stick with the turboxs unit?

Stick with the TXS unit, as the SW progress's it will outperform anything you can buy. An EBC actually is not going to help you as it is interfering with one of the key features of the UTEC. I'm at 20PSI all day long, though I still get a little change based on air temp (drastic changes in air temp).

One mod at a time, keep it simple.

what is a SW? By the way I think the plan will be too go with a Stage 4 UTEC with top mount intercooler. Only exception will be the use of a maxim or generation plastics exhaust manifold/uppipe instead of the turboxs uppipe. Nothing to crazy.

SW=software

Yes, you will need the TXS ABC for fine tuning of max boost, but the software will take care of your boost curve nicely.
