You don't seem to require any help with that.

Audi has big problems from congealing oil in their 6cyl and DI injector varnish clogging problems. Toyota has similar in past and partially caused by old lady driving styles.
Take the car out and run it hard and hot.

Many of us are talking from experience. My initial period with a new VAG was bliss too--until a few years in, when the warranty was gone, and the magical VAG POS gnomes awakened and started f'ing everything up. It was the ONLY vehicle that has left my family high and dry before.
So are we and why does your experience trump others? My brother has owned a 2007 A3 since new and has had zero (no bull sh$t), zero problems with it up to today.

Wow, nice job Honda. Pretty impressive to basically two fold your next opponent.

Considering Honda is an engine company above all else, I don't find that too surprising.

The turbo failed on my brother’s beloved JCW Mini; a single data point but the diagnostic and subsequent failed repair attempts on this “premium” small car are enough to keep me far, far away…

Mini and Scion are near the bottom of the list of the JD Power initial quality surveys.

If there's one thing buyers of Minis love to do, it's sitting in front of a computer screen checking boxes for hours on end...

Must be the later Scions because my family has a 1st gen xA and that thing has been very solid (130k). Regular maintenance is all it has asked for, low to mid 30s fuel economy, and dirt cheap brakes and tires. The interior also held up quite well for being a brand new $12k car and nearly 9 years old. That car should have no problem selling for $4-5k in the open market. Incredibly low cost of ownership.

Initial quality is different from reliability, I think. The materials, etc. That's what gets you those ratings.

Which would improve, not worsen their results.
