Default the new Lancia Delta HF Integrale

only a render, only a concept

http://www.worldcarfans.com/11311276...tally-imagined

Quote:
Envisioned with 1750 TBi engine

Angelo Granata from Reggio Emilia, Italy has brought back to life the Lancia Delta HF Integrale through several appealing digital renders.
It would be wonderful to have a Lancia Delta HF Integrale revival but chances of seeing a modern variant are extremely slim at this moment. Nevertheless, Angelo Granata came up with his own version of an up-to-date Integrale which follows the footsteps of the original model as it's a small and lightweight vehicle featuring sharp edges and an overall aggressive look.
The concept was designed to look like a coupe but without compromising the practicality offered by a five-door car while the dimensions of the car stand at 4270mm length, 1850mm width and 1380mm height, with a 2630mm wheelbase.
Angelo envisioned the concept with the 1750 TBi engine which powers several Alfa Romeo models, a motor capable of developing 235 HP (173 kW) at 5,500 rpm. In the all-wheel drive Delta concept it would enable the vehicle to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.2 seconds before topping out at 150 mph (242 km/h).

Looks bland and plasticky. I like the concept, ixnay on the retro styling. It's super lazy in this case.

Looks like it would end up weighing a ton. Kind of like the Challenger.

I really do not like these kinds of things. Video game cars belong in a video game. Cars with no door handles, no suspension travel, no wheel gap, ludicrous sized wheels to boot. NO bumper, no windshield wipers. And to top it off, it is never going to make production anyway. You want an Integrale, go buy a used one and fix it up. No need to go retro, drive the original.

Give me a Stratos or 037. Boxy hatchback belongs in the 90s.

I'd rather see a new RS200.

Overall shape is nice, needs to work on the details. Reminds me of a Mk 1/Mk 2 Golf, actually.

I swear I thought these were published sometime in the past year. Just can't find them.

Anyways, nice car, lots of heritage, but not much of a long running legacy to cash in on to make a purchase worthwhile and a muddied marketplace.

I love the Lancia Delta Integrale (And the first generation Sciroccos designed by the same guy), but this is ugly.

I like everything about this car. 100% serious. I don't know what the original looks like, so maybe that's why.

I don't understand the comment that it looks like it will weigh a ton. What specifically makes you think that? The boxy styling?
