Wow this is insane. Pretty crazy I actually dove by this, was thinking of posting in the sightings thread, thinking it was just a crashed or broken down Subi. Explains why there were so many cop cars for a breakdown.

I kinda want to help out with the hospital bills or something...

That's down the street from my house. Wife and I left a party we were at in N. Ft. Worth after midnight so this hadn't happened yet when we got home. Dude is a POS. At least the other dude helped out in attempting to save his life. Hope he pulls through.

Is he parting out or selling? (bad joke)

I guess I understand not wanting to leave people or especially one person alone on the side of a dark road in the middle of the night. I'm guessing the tow driver probably told him someone would be left behind after he put the car on the tower and then refused to drop the car. Even if that pissed the guy off a taxi ride home would have been much cheaper and no one would have needed to get hurt. I don't think intoxication should really play into this; just a really bad decision. Even if the kid felt like he was being wronged and he wanted to protect his friends; he and his gang were in no immediate danger... not the right time for violence.

Notice how that third Facebook image on his page shows his CD player playing "Did My Time"... gonna be serving some more now.

My understanding was if you shot someone above the waist it was attempted murder, below, aggravated assault. That's why the story goes that when Chicago crack dealers were double crossed, they would shoot people in the ass. If you're caught, it's a lesser charge and I bet it would be hard on your pride to get shot in the ass.

He has a gun control picture on his Facebook. Cruel irony that he can't control himself.

I highly doubt that the car was being held ransom. The tow driver wont load a car untill payment is guaranteed. If the guy was pissed he wouldnt pay, so the car probably never made it on the truck. Which would explain how he was able to get into the trunk for the gun. This guy was a drunk ass, and I hope he gets hard time for his actions.

I thought I understood the article to say that he got pissed because the tow truck driver wouldn't let anyone ride in the wrx on the back of the tow truck.
