Unhappy Just moved back to denver area and....

Where are all the 2.5rs owners... (gc8) I see millions of wrx's but I have yet to see another 2.5rs I'm in the lakewood area... and I know of one other 2.5rs in the fort collins area... but thats it.... I'ts kinda odd... my old town (roseburg,Or) had 3 of them not includeing mine and there was only 25k people who lived there.... I feel lonely
Anyways I'm just trying to see who's around here... besides that cocky dillfag in the wrx who slowed down untill he was next to my bumper and took off (slowly...well as fast as a stock wrx can go) instead of talking...

hmm... I'm off of 6th and kipling in lakewood... why would you sell a 2.5 for a camaro.... I can understand a miata for autocrossing.... but I just moved away from mullet ville I figured being a snow state thered be more 2.5's awd vs rwd in the snow is no contest (I know I've had 2 rx7's one with 180hp to the rear wheels n/a and one with 300 turbo) but yesterday I did see 2 gc8's (I know it's a 6 but most are used to hearing 8) and I talked with one kid... and I have seen a few of the bug eyed 2.5's and a wrx with a sti spoiler when I was comeing back from rideing the jetski's at chatfield today.... anyways I think we need to organize a subaru meet before the weather turns to crap... what do you guys think?

You've never autocrossed or open tracked an f-body, have you?

As far as the snow, it's not so bad. You just have to learn to modulate the throtle correctly, and with a motor that makes enough torque to get the car moving in 2nd gear without touching the throtle, starts are no problem.

Nope I tend to stay away from the f-bodies... I'm more into smaller compact aluminum go carts on wheels.... I know my car is about 1000lbs from being what I described but my next impreza will be close... and I'm not knocking camaros I've just lived in a hick ville and thats all they drive.... you're right about the torque though... my damn rx7's had none what so ever.... but a 10k redline and 300 hp were fun enough.... 120 in 3rd gear is a weird feeling... the down side.. no power until 3500 rpms meant I cant go up hill when it snows... I just roast em above 3500 and I just sit there under that...
No-coast.... I need to probe your brain a bit about your ej22t swap.. you mind?

We should try to get as many people as we can to bandimear (spelling) sep. I think 18th... I can't remember the exact date... for some fun races and a kinda impreza (and camaro/miata) meet.
