Looks like it's running the EJ207 again. Looks good though, should be a fun car like all the other STi's before it.

Is there any way to watch this race on tv or streaming on the internet. I wanna see this car perform. I wish they would come back to the continental tire series in grand am racing.

Usually Audi has a stream and Radiolemans.com does English commentary for the entire event.

The official Subaru 24Hr NBR Challenge twitter feed also posts in English at times during the race for updates.

The 24 Rennen is one of the easiest races to view online, period.

Best too, imo.

Radio Lemans crew is tip top.

Really? Are they going to run the older sti or run the new sti? Cause the last time I contacted the team that ran the sti a couple years ago, he told me that Subaru wouldn't fund them anymore so they switched to the ford mustang. I will be sure to be on the look out for the sti in that series this year.

I believe they have the same 2 chassis that Phoenix ran in 2012, and I highly doubt that there's any Subaru funding behind it. They have 2 cars, but only one of them raced at Daytona last weekend.

As per Phoenix, Subaru cut all its road racing funding in the US. So I'd be shocked if subaru has a dime in the c360 program. That being said, I think c360 will be a better team for the car and give it the time/development it needs.

They had a so-so run 2 weekends back in a 4hr race to set up the car. It seems Audi raised the bar with the new LMS Engineering TTRS2 cars. Last year's SP3T winner, the Raeder Motorsports Audi TTRS was also going well.

There's one more in May, then the real deal in June for the 24hour. Hopefully Subaru sort things out.

... it's growing on me! Think it definitely looks better then the previous generation. Hope they can make it somewhat competitive in the field.

Their 2nd 4hr race to prep the car for next month's 24hour race is tomorrow Sat 17 May 2014. Car #318 and running in SP3T. The race starts at 12noon their time.

Felix Baumgartner, the high altitude world record parachute holder (I think), is in the #22 Audi R8. And ex F1 driver Nick Heidfeld is driving the Nismo GTR #23.

But looks like Orient will be making a specific STI watch model for this race:
http://www.orient-watch.com/feature/.../sti_2014.html

One of these days I'll get around to getting an STI Orient watch.
