Good upgrade. The turbo swap is gonna look so easy compared to injectors. Those great brackets of death are the worst.

haha thanks for scaring me!

It's all good, I'll just take my time and do what I gotta do. I know the reward at the end is gonna be worth it!

All done! Finally able to drive it again. I just finished installing a catless uppipe from an 05 STi, VF39, STi intercooler, and JDM pink injectors (COBB Stage 3, soon I'll get a proper tune). Also put in a COBB turbo heat shield and covered the intercooler in that gold tape while I was at it.

The GBOD's weren't as bad as I was expecting... I guess I was mentally prepared for them. Just took my time and things went pretty smoothly. Now I just need to wait for the bearing for my dead a/c compressor pulley to come in from Autozone - it got held up with the weather on the east coast.

Putting it all back together though I missed a couple of spots. Nearly tried starting the car without one of the sensors plugged in... it was jammed underneath the back of the driver side GBOD. Caught it at the last second. Then after my initial test drive, one of the coolant hoses decided to fail AND I forgot to clamp off a different coolant hose going to the reservoir. Made for a smoky return to home... thought the car was blowing up for a second. The wife was freaking out.

Quick cell pic, I can finally add to this thread properly. She is an 04 with a 01 front jdm swap. She still needs some touch up and body lines straightened but you get the idea. More and better pics to come.

There is still more to it than just the front swap. Look at the pic closer.

It looks like you've got the track width of a WRC car.

Ding ding ding. We got some winners here. Unfortunately it has been at the shop for way too long. I still need to throw the motor back in and complete the wiring, which I hope to complete this weekend.

I went as wide as I felt comfortable for tires, I wanted and almost went with 275's but I didn't want to work the fenders anymore than I already had. The front fenders aren't rolled and don't need to be, the jdm fenders are cut on the lip for clearance or at least mine were. I think our cars look so much better with an actual tire on there too.

Hello my fellow Bugeye Mafioso's! Anyone happen to have a OEM hood or rear passenger side door in MBP? PM me.

I finally got her out of what seemed like jail. I still need to throw her back together, which is what I am about to start on. It's going to be a long and fruitful few days.

Sweet! Sorry its been awhile since I've logged in and just saw the bugeye thread! I just bought my bugeye late last year. Had a peanut eye before then. Love my bugeye! I'll post a picture of her in a bit!
