Default 1 more point for Santa Cruz Subaru

Saturday- I took the wagon in for the 7.5K maint. As always the staff there kicks A$$! Mark was swamped with work, but took care of business. They even let me play with my bit-charger WRX on the show room floor while I waited. I think just about the entire staff is going to run out and buy one now...So do not blame me if the next time ya show up and no one is there, because they are all race'n each other out back... enough can not be said for how GREAT a dealership this is!

The check up-
Oh the TSB for the turbo pressure gauge was also completed...looks perfect now!
Everything checked out, with only one problem that they took care off with out any issues...Warped rotors after just over 7K.
I must admit I am a little discouraged with that, the wagon has never seen track time, and if the wife gets her way it never well ("you can take your car and risk it all ya want, just not mine!") I have taken it on few and far between back road fun run's, but it has never seen the amount or hard action I give my spyder. Has anyone played with ducting for the brakes? I do not want to keep kill'n rotors ever 7K or so. Hopefully this was just one of those things if not some serious brake upgrades are in order!

Yes. I felt a slight vib, and uneven pedal feel when slowing for say 80 - 40. Around town I never noticed it, but @ HWY speeds it was there everytime...started about a month ago.

Yes Subaru of Santa Cruz rocks. They are forever courteous and professional. They deliver a level of service so exceptional it almost makes me feel guilty.

This last week I had my clutch changed and some other work done to my car.. part hadn't arrived yet to complete the work but I needed my car for the weekend. Mark went as far as to call me and suggest that I not take my car back due to the nature of the problem (my speedo and tach are not working) only out of concern. That's a rare thing indeed. Also too, they fixed a problem that I created on my own. I recently changed the plugs on my car and I guess I missed a bolt on one of the plug coils... well my car ran like poo 1/4 of the way down 17 as it tends to do on 3 cylinders... when I called them up and they looked at it and fixed it right away. No charge.. no hassel.. and it was even my own admitted fault!!! They are too awesome.
