Default Sno*Drift 2014!

Okay guys, it's next week.

Who's going?

Anyone want to caravan?

I have a cabin in Lewiston with about 6 beds still open too, if anyone needs a room.

LSPR, HQ in Houghton, MI. Great rally to go to. Though Sno*Drift is better for spectators. And you're not guaranteed warm weather at LSPR, it's been in the 20's and snowing for that event as well!

Sno*Drift is held in Atlanta/Lewiston area. Friday and Saturday is the race (24th and 25th).

http://www.sno-drift.org/

I was crewing at LSPR this past year. Had a BLAST! It was a bit chilly (in the 30's and 40's). It snowed once. It rained. LSPR can be snow, can be mud, can be dirt. It varies a LOT. But, it's in the UP, so it's quite a drive for most.

Sno*Drift is only ~3 1/2 hours from Detroit, so it gets a lot more spectators!

It has been a while!

The GF has been EG33'd for over a year now, still running strong. Next up: forced induction and a 400whp DD.

I was marshaling the stage he crashed out on a few years ago at 100AW in McRae's car. Never got to see him pass by

I'm just as excited about the competition in OL as I am about Open. 16 competitors in OL, a regional only class? Hell yeah! That class has grown by leaps and bounds in the few short years it's been around. Car #267. You should cheer for it.

I think this should be a fun time for sure! First year not going to do service so we can actually do some sight seeing!

Should be making the trip up early Friday morning from the RO area with a buddy. Not sure if hes bringing his DD impreza on blizzaks, but I'm bringing my GD STi on all season goodyear eagle GTs. Thoughts on if I should find some blizzaks for some ****ty 17" spare rotas i have laying around?

This is my first SnoDrift after moving up from Louisiana a year ago. Sending ya a PM toocool.

I'd be down to caravan too depending when people are leaving or where.

Bump! I'll be driving through Chicago around 1:30pm on Thursday if anyone wants to caravan.

That said, anyone have open floor space?

Updating: I've still got a couple beds left, so I wanna fill 'em so I don't get stuck $500 in the hole on a cabin.

$100 if you want a bed
$50 if you wanna risk the "lottery" (If there are open beds, you can fight for them, otherwise you get to sleep on the floor).

Cabin is just south of Lewiston on Tee Lake! I've got it Thursday through Sunday. Camp cook/group meals are available for another $25 (to cover the cost of the food).

Crash wants to do Ice Racing... We'll see about that.
