Post 500hp Impreza?

I just had my RS in yesterday to get the O2 sensor replaced and someone mentioned to me that one of the guys there is building a 500hp Impreza. Anyone have details on this? Is JCSports involved?

Yes, I am at work today. It will be on my current platform-MY99 coupe. Thimgs are coming together, but slowly. I'm looking to have the project done by late spring/early summer, if everything continues as it has been.

SubeTek,
Is your car rally blue pearl? I sometimes see that car on my way to school. I would also like to see your finished beast.

Talking

SubeTek- You work at Flatirons Subaru? If so, are you working today? If so, until when? I get off work at 5:00 and would love to stop by and hear firsthand about this beast. Sorry for all the questions but I am quite interested...

My impreza is black- I've just finished most of the body mods and suspension, so as the drivetrain parts arrive/or are finished I will be assembling the rest and pulling out the NA drivetrain. At the rate everthing is starting to come in, my wife will probably kill me for all the money going out, but you only live once!

I just took off my legacy turbo - a person won't be getting more than 230-240 from it, even with bigger injectors and water injection. Diz was close to that at 9 psi and water injection on his 99 and might have hit that goal with extra injectors...

Changing the subject back to O2 sensors (as El Kabong mentioned it first), I just had my fuly functional and working O2 sensor replaced due to the factory recall, despite no CE lights, and the car clearly runs better. No more bucking under load in 4th and 5th gear like I am too rich, which was what the old O2 sensor was apparently doing to the car per John at JCS.

You damn right, You only live once!!! I will be joining the ranks of Byron and you in a few. Let me guess EJ22T, T04, FMIC, custom piping, Gearbox...Legacy Turbo? or Hardened Gears?, EJ25 Heads ported and polished and fitted to turbospec, maybe turbo cams. Tec 2 or Wolf Engine control. Am I close? Let me know how it goes. Good Luck. I can't wait to be pushing Porsches around.
