Just building back up the piggy bank for new FP, Ext. gate and pro tune.

Edit - This pic was taken in Allentown, NJ (some nasty back roads i usually take the bike out on... tons of fun with the car as well).

I have a question for you guys about shifters... I been reading and researching for awhile but I'm still undecided. I am between the TWM, Kartboy, and Cobb/Mode short shifter. Probably the M1 abrams knob, and TIC holy shift bushings...just dont know what lever to go with. Any of you guys have experience with any of these shifters? I was set on the TWM but then seeing that it sits an inch and a half lower then stock height made me get into all this research... I don't know if I'd like the shifter sitting real low... any opinions?

i had the kartboy shifter on my old 5sp with all the shift bushings. IIRC it was still at stock height. Very positive shifting. I would consider getting one for my jdm 6sp but my throws are short already.

If you're concerned about the shifter height, go with the Cobb adjustable shifter.

http://www.rallysportdirect.com/COBB...-Throw-Shifter

You can adjust the throw and the lever height.

yeah I like that the cobb is adjustable..just heard some things about the bolts stripping out on the lever and etc... this is such a basic part and I'm turning it into a big ta-do! I love the quality of the twm and the "no vibration" that they claim for that lever. And then the kart boy is everyone's favorite...

Sounds like a plan! Where should we meet up?

Also, awdbrian, are you around the manhawkin/barnegat area? and how long have you had that car? I feel like I've seen you over the years when I was working down in that area...if not similar car...
