No, you didn't. The car is butt ugly, and it's a 4 door. It costs 25K. For less than 4K you can put a turbo on yours and spank the WRX, and still save 10 grand. Sure thay can make their cars faster, but thats in addition to what they spent on the car. Our cars are better looking than this "thing". Think of how much fun it'll be whupping these things at an autox!

I don't know. I actually like how they look *gasp* Maybe it's that "new car feeling" eating at me. Oh how nice a new car would be (especially one that doesn't rattle and creek all the time). Pricing and insurance is the biggest thing right now though

I think you've lost your mind... too many chemicals in that lab...

I went to Flatirons the other day. Drove out back where they had about 18 WRX's, all different models and colors. I can't stand this car. It's worse in person than in pictures. Nasty looking... I'm sure a test drive would take some of the edge off, but there's no way I'm buying a car that looks like that.

If I could get a body kit thrown in, I'd consider it. Maybe the STi version will fix this... maybe the EVO VII will really show up and I won't have to worry about it.

I keep going back and forth b/n N/A and Turbo. That loss of low end grunt makes a mild N/A car really appealing. It's faster off the line with less throttle than the rex. Plus it looks better . In person is not that bad. I want the seats, though. They felt like hard plastic, but were still very supportive. Gimme my RS though...until a modded wrx kicks my butt.

Sorry Eric, I saw 2 white STI's last week and the only difference between the looks of the normal WRX and the STI is a bigger hood scoop on the STI and fog light covers, oh, and the "STI" sticker! The two I saw also had rally roof vents, but I'm not positive that Subaru did that.

hoodwho, that is indeed my RS. It's been waiting for parts since Tuesday, but I should have it back tomorrow. The exhaust is sitting in my garage waiting to be sold. I think soon my suspension will be for sale as well. Damn Subaru for their temptation!!

No Problem Eric. I took photos of them as well as many other cars. So if I have them developed I will bring them to the next meet and show you.

Curtis, does that mean you're back from the land WAY down under? You'll have to show us more pics of Antarctica; oddly I'd rather see those than car pics

Yeah I'm back! I have a bag full of film that needs to be developed, I just have to find the funds first. I will bring photos of Antarctica and New Zealand to the next meet if I have them done by then.

Did you get your new WRX Ro?

not yet. Looks like I'll have to order one. Right now I'm trying to find a loan (with poor success mind you but the dealer app is going in tomorrow). I'm tempted to just have the dealer find a WRX for me, but you never know where/how those "mystery miles" got there. I'd rather have one new so I know how the car was treated durring break-in
