Nice driving JJ! Taking first in the class, that's sweet!
I had a blast on race tires. I highly recommend that to everyone. It's much more fun! Looks like there was a lot of Subaru drivers there. I didn't get to talk to many of you. Got there too late... ;( There's a rallycross coming up this Sunday at the Rocky Mountain National Speedway in Commerce City. Hopefully someone will know how to get there cause I have no clue.

I got first? Really
![]() ![]() I hadn't looked, going to look right after I get done typing. I know I could have probably cut a few seconds off of that time had I had a course walk. True, I did help build the course, but I was driving the truck with them building it behind me. I then line the course and even that I don't think helps that much. I had a blast anyway, and my confidence level is really starting to go up. BTW, you were not to shabby yourself! I think everybody did well. And- I've made my decision. I am probably most definetly going to get the TEIN HA or Cusco Comp-2 coilovers. Then with that, some new wheels because I was getting flex, and my race rubber, I will have NO MORE excuses ![]() JJ |

Addendum to above post: (I didn't do an edit because then it would be loooong)
Well, if you look at the score report, Dan Hackett beat me by just a little bit- BUT - there was some confusion in the whole STR (rookie or race tires) thing yesterday. AFAIK, I was the only STR running r-compounds. So- if there wouldn't have been confusion I would have won anyway. Plus, he has coilovers plus BFG G-force KD (one step below r-compound). JJ |

Ah, got it. I just saw your name at the top of the list. The new software output is a bit more of a mess to read than the old stuff.
Yeah, you should definitely look for some lighter race wheels. Those steelies are heavy! |
