As far as the shortblock, if I order the Outfront Closed Deck case halves with the 1/2" Outfront studs, will it be all preassembled so I need to do is to drop in my choice of pistons/rods/crank?

Iirc it's 140 ft/lbs torqued in oem sequence.

^ Why would you torque beyond recommended bolt torque/stretch? That's just asking for trouble IMO, with more downsides than up.

Default Outfront Motorsports 1/2" Stud Torture Test, compared to ARP 2000 and 625+

Why would you torque over factory spec. I run my arp2000 to 95ft lbs my 625 when I get them will most likely get 105ft-lbs I have the same snapon digital torque wrench. And I use impact sockets from the jump less flex less broken sockets precision torque...
