Post Rallycross on March 25th, details...

It's at the dirt oval right next to Second Creek. You all know how to get there, right? Anyway, it's one of the more centrally located, so let's get some Subaru's out there. I'll be there for sure, I mean it this time...

I could use a navigator...

Actually, I have a hard time believing that we'd need a navigator on a course like this... who knows.

Joy is going to drive the RS too, so you could be a passenger all day... hehehe...

so how did everything go after the lunch break? Did they ever set up one big course, or did you guys just run the 2 backwards and that was that? Any results? Kind of sucks not hearing times announced, just some guy in a van with a stopwatch is a bit lame. Rather interesting stuff you nuts are out there doing
Dave, thanks for the ride

So how was this rallycross? Perhaps someone saw a good friend of mine in yellow Mazda 323 with white OZ's? Pretty fast car. Would have loved to seen this race.

Strepto - We weren't able to run the full course in the end. We did run the 2 tracks in reverse tho. The results will be posted at the ColoradoRally.org website sometime tomorrow.

I thought having a guy in a van was rather "Grassroots" (in a good way) We're all a bit spoiled by the hi-tech stuff at the AutoX's.

Arnie - RallyX Kicks Ass. It was my first RallyX, and it was the first time I could really get my car sideways, made me feel alot better taking the Winter Drive classes.

Your friend was there, and looked pretty fast, unfortunately, I didn't see how his times compared to the Scoobie ppl. That 323 looked sweet tho

Hey Will, do you have skidplates mounted? Do you think its necessary for the average rallycross?

My friend's car is pretty heavily modified. Lots of Group A rally parts. I think it has around 250hp and that is a lot for such a light car. Its amazing to drive in. I get the perma grin when we drive around.

All I have is the Rear Diff Protector.

I don't think the skidplates are necessary unless your car is dropped 1.5 inches or more. The RallyX people are pretty good about keeping the cars away from rough spots on the surface.

It was an amazing time. I'm definitely hooked. I don't have any skid plates, but if the series pans out a little more, I'll think about getting them.

I hope someone got some video of my last run, cause it was sweet. Lots of looping turns...
