Hi I want to get an oem kenwood for my 08 subaru wrx but I've seen some people saying it has bad sound quality. Is this true? Or will it sound the same as the radio that came with the car (Sorry I don't know the name of it it's and oem) if I'll do this upgrade will the steering wheel controls work?
Thanks!

Call Crutchfield. Do what they tell you.
Go to an audio shop. Give them money. based on the majority of your threads, DIY is probably not for you, yet.

I was debating the same thing on my 2013. Decided to go with an aftermarket set up...the best bang for your buck. My stock speakers sound sooooo much better with an after market head unit!!
