Post Great looking woman driving an RS in Boulder :)

I was driving down Broadway in Boulder in my shiny new blue WRX and I see this silver 2.5 RS in the other lane. Sweet! I thought it might be my wife because she drives one also, but instead it was another great looking woman (my wife is a cutie) driving. Sweet! I gave her a big grin and she smiled back. Anyone know who that was? She had highlighted blond hair, kinda long.

That was one of your wife's friends. She's gonna go tell your wife that youwere trying to hit on her in your new pimp ride and your gonna be in trouble!!! Hahaha

Seriously, hot chicks driving cool cars are sweet.

Doug,

You got your Rex, man? Great!

When do you think I can head up there to check fitment on the rear strut bars? Or are you coming down here anytime soon?

Thanks!

Tom!

Yup, the REX unexpectedly arrived way early! How far is Black Hawk from Boulder? I might be able to come visit you this weekend or possibly next weekend, depending on what's going on with school.

This weekend is a bad time because I'll be in Alabama.

However, next weekend would be great because a bunch of us are meeting up by my house to check out a parking lot that we may use for my subaru-only auto-x that I'll be hosting sometime.

From Boulder to Black Hawk is about an hour and 15 to 30 minutes. You just head down Broadway and keep going south when it turns into highway 93. Keeping going down 93 until you reach Golden Gate Canyon (highway 46), turn right, and then about 20 miles on that twisty and extremely fun road, you see a KOA kampground. I could meet you there. That's basically where my house is.

Thanks,
Tom

Not to be a party pooper, but the WRX already has a 20mm sway bar stock. If you are going higher, how high are you goin'?

Cool

It's a strut bar, not a sway bar.

Hmm... Well next weekend might be good. I'll just have to play it by ear and see what develops. It'd be nice to take the REX out for a longer jaunt I think!

[EDIT] BTW Tom, this is dougwendel - just had to change that alias. I'm now trunkboy, as per this photo:

OK... This thread is gettin' scary.

Its gone from talkin' about some "Great Looking Woman" to some guy makin' a strange face in a trunk of a WRX (above pic).

Hehehe! Well, we were at the Denver Auto Show and decided to see how spacious the trunk was! What better way to test it out, right? I think we almost got busted, but nobody came over while I was in there...

If it was a BRP sedan, I am pretty sure it was my girlfriend. She has red hair though, real light. And yep, she's a hottie. I get to drive it today, yeeehaw!! Oh well, just thought I'd let you know. And Doug, if you ever feel like showing off your Rex to a soon-to-be owner of one, I'm all ears. Just drop me a PM or something and we can go for a drive.

-Brian

Edit: I just reread the post and saw that it was a Silver car, oh well, wishful thinking I guess.

Yeah, it was a 4-door. So what are you doing in Boulder whiteRex? Says you're just here temporarily?

I finished school at CU in May of 200 and have been living the Boulder college lifestyle (minus the homework and tests and *****) until I move back to Oakland in August. I've been out here about four and a half years now.

Shoot, I live right by the university, go to school there, AND work there! (All this is in addition to my "day" job, which is down in Denver). I've probably seen you around and didn't know who you were

I would expect that kind of hostility from someone in Fort Collins. It's cool jealousy will get you nowhere.

Hey now, that trunk was pretty comfy! Plus, there was a secret bonus hidden in there - the 2002 Impreza brochure!

Where in Boulder? Any specific street? There are a couple of high school girls that drive around in Silver RSs. One has a coupe, the other has a sedan.

She was driving on Broadway, headed towards Baseline street but she turned off into the residential area before she got there. It was a 4 door also.
