Functional Subarus are getting rare. Cool kids roll with their bagged rides these days.

The build sounds like it's going to be pretty awesome. Track cars are everywhere but rally/offroad cars have always been where my heart is.

Good luck!

Love the car. Wanna run a similar tires setup on my 07 wrx. Any problems with tires rubbing?

Would you mind posting a direct link to the wheels? I am unable to find the exact ones you have. Thanks!

Thanks everyone! I thought I was going to get flamed on here on nasioc for doing this hahah...

Here is the link to all their TD wheels, just email them and tell them what you want. *pro rally 1 in black* is what I have.

I have only gotten rubbing under extreme situations and even then it was minor only on the fender liner. It wont happen when I lift it. Daily driving it doesn't happen at all

Hell, I don't even know if the King springs lift it any. haha

Yeah check out Braid wheels! Also on team illuminatas site. And yeah I was thinking of lifting it on springs for now but they say the stock struts dont last long at any other height than stock. The king springs would lift it about 1.5 inches.. combined with tires that makes a huge difference. I just want the most reliable setup possible and I hear the ksport coilovers suck and the feal coilovers use camber plates which are bad for offroading according to DI.. still researching stuff, lift is next after tint I think

Sub'd. I've wanted to lift my STi since I bought it, but I haven't found any good suspension solutions. Interested to see how yours turns out!

As am I. So, I did some research and found that the General Grabbers aren't offered in a 17" wheel diameter. So, you can buy the Braid's (or any other rally-esque 17" wheel), but what tires do you mate them to? I wonder if the BF Goodrich All-terrains are offered in a 17" wheel diameter?

Hey man, are you 100% sure that your tires are 205 75 r15? I ran a converter and it is saying that they are almost 2" larger in diameter than the stock tires. I just don't see how you are getting them to fit at the stock ride height. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Oh ****, I am a dumbass. The 15" wheel essentially takes away two inches from the overall diameter. I am currently working on getting a setup similar to yours. Will post when I have it finished! In the meantime, keep it looking good and post any pics of your progress! Thanks!

BEAST MODE! Good to see a traditional rally look! Don't get me wrong I love the sleek look of the bagged and hellaflush and whatnot but this is true beauty! Keep it up and hope to see more!

15" TD Pro Rallys do not require any sort of brake modification with stock WRX brakes. I believe (but am not 100% sure), they also fit over 4/2 pots. They do not clear brembos.

No updates lately! I am between a few things, just bought some things for my other hobbies haha Stay tuned though for sure... and no I didnt have to modify brakes at all. I doubt they will fit brembos though

You've got a killer Subie McKinnon,

I created an account here in the hopes you might be able to answer a few questions for me.

-What is the tire clearance like with the stock suspension and the 205/75/15 Grabbers? Is there any rubbing when turned at full lock? How about steep driveways, etc..?
-You mentioned that the KSport rally coils aren't great. I'm new to the Subaru scene, but I'm curious if you have any threads you have saved or could offer any additional info on the KSports. That was the route I was planning on going with if I build a rally-style Sub.
-Have you come across any other builds on the various forums that follow the same rally aesthetic and build style? If so, would you mind sharing the links?

Thanks in advance.
