Post What's the best place to buy wheels in CO?

Just picked up my silver sedan on Monday (finally!) I think my first expense will be new wheels/tires, as the stock 16" look tiny for some reason (and the tires suck). I'm looking into the OZ P1s (maybe too expensive), P7s, or maybe even the UK 17" WRX OEMs. I'm hoping to avoid a couple hundred bucks in shipping costs by getting them in state. Any opinions on which wheels you guys like, or places I can get them?

Thanks,
Andy

Yep, I got my OEMs from JC Sports. That is a pretty good price for the wheel we are getting.

Do you know how much those weigh? I was going to get them too, until I saw the price. I found an out of state shop that is selling P1s for $260 plus $12 per rim shipping. Not bad at all. Only problem is it will take a month until they get another shipment from Italy.

I think they weigh in at around 20lbs. You may want to give JC Sports a call. They could verify. Hopefully, I'll have them on my car this weekend...

Try www.coloradowheels.com and ask for Jake. He said he can get you any wheel at cost.

Check with JC Sports Those oem rims, are those the UK spec stockers, I'm just curious because I think those look better than the BBS's and at what--400 less PER Wheel??

Megatron,

Hey congrats on the new car! Remember that you will have to pay sales tax though. I just ordered silver Speedline Super Turismos and Toyo Proxes from Mike at SPD tuning Service and even though I paid shipping I didn't have any tax which pretty much made it a wash. He still has a few sets of these wheels in stock.

Hey Tangmere, that link to Colorado Wheels didn't work. Any ideas?

PunksRS, the place I was looking at was in California, so I assume I won't have to pay sales tax if I bought from them, right? How are those Super Turismos? Those are +48 offset right?
