Help..Need to borrow/rent wheels for upcoming track day.

Here's the thing...

I'm still running on my stock RE92s..which as all of you know are on the wrong side of the "good tire" scale. I have a nice set of worn Kumho Victoracers (225/50/16) that I would love to use for the Taste of Subaru event at PIR. I don't however currently have a set of wheels for them.

Does anyone have a set of Subaru OEM WRX or RS wheels that I could borrow or rent for the weekend? I'll pick them up (pay you a resonable rental fee if required) and bring them back, and of course pay for any damage (God forbid) they might sustain.

If you can help, let me know.

You could spend $15 or $20 a tire and have the VictoRacers mounted onto your stock wheels... then switch them back later.

A chunk of change though.

I imagine most people have their old RE92's still on their stock rims.

As a last resort maybe, but I would have to do it in Portland. I don't think driving to Portland and back on slicks is a good idea.
Better to just go with them on seperate rims.

Whoa!!! Are you in luck. I just happen to have a set of RS 6-spokes (one of my 3 sets of OEM RS wheels

) that don't have anything on them right now. They're waiting for me to get off my butt and mount the snow tires on them. Fortunately for you, I'm lazy. Unfortunately for you, I'm in Salem.

I'd be willing to work something out. Let me know if you're interested.

If you can't find a better solution you can borrow my stock wheels w/ RE92's and swap your tires on. Probably not as cheap a solution as if someone has tireless wheels lying around and not as nice as 7" wide wheels but its better than nothing.

I have a set of 6-spoke RS wheels in my garage. Technically they're on my Legacy but since it's up on jackstands for a while, I can spare that set of wheels.

They're yours if you haven't found anything else.
