Default B4 in Autoweek to come to US?

Hey I was crusing some other forums and I came across a guy with an S4 saying that in his new Autoweek there was an announcement on the new Sti AND B4 legacy coming to America. Ive heard many things about the Sti but the B4 is totally new to me. If anybody Knows anything please post because I am fully prepared to sell the house and my first born for a Legacy B4!!! hahah

(also the S4 guy went on to rant about how neither car would ever touch his precious S4 but he just needed something for the wife to drive .......poor soul needs a clue

I think we'll have to wait awhile for an anouncement on a performance Legacy. SOA has yet to make an announcement on the STi. I would assume the STi comes first.

My dealer said the B4 (or something similar, they didn't use the term "B4") will come in 2004. They're a dealer though, so I don't know how reliable their info is though, for what its worth.

The B4 is coming but not for another year. I believe it is going to debut in 2003 as a 2004 model year.

Everything I hear is 2004 as a 2005 along with the Legacy redesign.

Jarvis is correct.... And it won't be a TT setup... single turbo setup.

Can we just please loose the woodgrain trim! :monkey: Get us some nice brushed aluminum. I'm on deck for an 05 Legacy GT (Turbo). I hope they give us an STi suspension and 4-pot brakes for options, though I'm just dreaming.

ya know, the new Baja's "faux" aluminum trim looks pretty nice, better than the WRXs. Just saw one in person and peeked inside. I'm not a big fan of faux trim, but this was done pretty well comapratively speaking.

Well woodgrain or not I am getting an '05 Legacy GT (It would be awesome if they called the sedans GT-R's and the Wagon's GT-B's. ) It would be nice to see 250hp and a strong 5-speed tranny with viscous rear and center LSDs. STi brakes, an STi suspension package and some extra STi goodies on the options list as well as an HID upgrade would totally rule! I would prefer a single turbo setup, but I'll take what I can get and upgrade to a single setup later and probably a 2.2L setup. That's why I'd like the stronger tranny!

What are others looking for in the next generation Legacy GT series?

Though I'm still in love with the B4... I can't make a decision until we know more about what's coming to us....

I may get the G35 Sport Sedan with 6 speed nxt yr. if the B4 doesn't look promising...

Well if they don't bring it in a timely fassion, or give us the 3.0L H6 with an auto, I'll get the STi. I love the room of my Legacy, but if they don't give us something good with a strong manual tranny, I will be forced to get an STi. For the extra 5k or so over the standard Rex, I think it would be more than worth it. SOA please send us the B4 RSK with the goods!
