Post burninrubber, question about your car

Hey, what mods do you have, and how well does your car keep up with Larry's?

Now that Larry has upgraded his turbo, my car is too damn slow. His almost seems too fast though. The sinful part is, you really DO feel like you're going that fast. The wagon is a rush, though. Can't wait to try it on 18psi .

I forgot to answer your question, though. It has a lightweight JC pulley, 2 1/2 cat back exhaust, TC1, intake, and hi-flow fuel pump.
Keep meaning to get the 02 sensor replaced.
It does 0-60 in about 7 flat at 5200ft. up.
I'll post more after it's done. If it's doing that out of tune at altitude, maybe I can hit 6's. Don't know for sure though. It may not do much at all.

Spent some time at the track today in Phoenix with a WRX, then came back tonight to drive my car - and I figure my car at only 5 psi feels like the WRX, and I routinely run 7 psi or more. More on that story tomorrow...

So you haven't added the cams and you still run flat 7's. Will the cams be a mod in the near future?

Thats really interesting considering I am running 9.5s 0-60 (one shot and not hard shifting) and I have intake, cams, 2.25" exhaust and am at 4500ft. I am going to swap the intake for something else to see if this might be part of my weak link.

I've been in Gary's car, and I would have guessed it felt about 0-60 in 8 seconds flat at 5,500 feet. But, I now have the gtech pro for this weekend so he better come down for the autocross Sunday and we'll find a place to test it afterwards...

Larry

PS: Remember, my car with just a legacy turbo compressor at 5 psi (and no extra injectors) ran a gtech of 0-60 before at 8.98 sec stock, 8.4 sec with Ganzflow only, and a repeatable 6.2 sec after the turbo. And Qtr mile times dropped from 16.7@84 to 14.65@97 with that setup. Gary ran a 16.9 at Bandimere speedway, so it can't be running 0-60 in the 7's (I don't think)

Got my half-worn Summers put on today. I'll be there.
