Exclamation Those of you with MY00 Imprezas

Go get your recalled O2 sensors replaced ASAP!!

Friday afternoon I was just north of Denver on I25 heading south and my Check Engine light came on!! My car guzzled almost half of a tank of gas between there and Burt Subaru on Broadway!! I almost didn't make it. Very bad deal!

Just got the car back this afternoon.

DON'T take it to Shortline Subaru... they are BAD... evil evil people!

Take it to Burt... VERY nice and knowledgage people! They didn't say a peep about my exhaust OR intake. Or that fact that I had my back seats out!!

Tom

Subaru of America sent out letters to all Impreza owners notifying them of them recall. If you didn't get one, that's ok.

Let me see if I can find something Subaru's website.

Yeah, I got my recall notice about 3 weeks ago, or more. Got my O2 sensor replaced for the second time.

Anyone in need of repairs, feel free to come to Flatirons Subaru, as we are a mod friendly dealership. No hassles, we just want your business. Feel free to contact me in person.

Not all MY00 Imprezas have the recall. I went to my local dealership, and they will run your VIN to see if the recall applies to you. Luckily, mine wasn't affected by the recall, and I've never had any problems with mine.

Bret did my car last week and HE IS VERY VERY GOOD Great service, I can't thank him enough. He fixed what Burt wouldn't and didn't give me any crap about my exhaust or anything. In fact, he is building a monster impreza, although it already feels very fast already. I AM NEVER EVER GOING ANYWHERE ELSE for warranty service, not shortline, not burt, but Bret, Lynel and the rest of the crew over a flatirons will continue to get my business. And before anybody asks, no I'm not a paid endorser.
