I bought my 2014 last year for 24298 with only 389 destination fees. Here is the link for the same deal on the 2015. For those that don't know Heuberger Subaru is the #1 in volume sales. Please let Clint Earhart know you heard from me!

Got my VON from Clint today, expecting to get OTD for under 28.5 for a wrb limited Wrx. No sales tax in my home state!

Can't wait!

Plan on doing front lip, 35% tint, and rims eventually

I have a Costco membership so that'd be great to use.
So far the best price I was quoted was invoice price.
Limited $29,027 (incl dest)
HK/Nav/Keyless $2218

If this is the official order thread...

Order #1:
New Motors, Erie PA
2015 WRX Limited, 6MT, WRB, homelink, arm rest, all weather mats
$500 deposit, $750 off MSRP
This car has a Vehicle Order Number, due late April
This car is also available to anyone because:

Order #2:
Brunswick Subaru, Brunswick OH
2015 WRX Limited, 6MT, WRB, homelink, arm rest, all weather mats
$1000 deposit, MUCH better price (below invoice)
No VON yet but same ETA per salesmen (these guys get heaps of WRXs)

If anyone wants to grab that WRX coming to New Motors, ask for Steve Dillon (excellent dude) and mention me - send me a PM.

If you deal with Brunswick, ask for Nick Cancelliere, also excellent, also mention me.

It's not listed; I called up every Subaru dealer in my area, and about half of them participated in the Costco Auto Program. I ended up getting mine for several thousand below invoice.

Ok so you just outright asked them if the participated in the costco auto program and what their pricing was on an order? several thousand below (assuming around 2k?) invoice is the best deal I've heard of thus far.

Yeah, you go through the Costco site first to get a customer number (just pick something like the 2014 WRX), and then it'll list all of the dealerships in your area (within a specified mile radius) that partners with Costco. Then just start going down the list, and call every one of the dealers. A bunch of them participate only on certain models, and only a select few will offer the Costco pricing on something like the 2015 WRX/STI.

I call BS. There is no way a $75 Costco membership is going to save you $4,000+ off MSRP on any Subaru, let alone their completely redesigned brand new WRX.

Well, perhaps it's the dealer that's offering the discount then. Whatever the case is, it's a large and reputable Subaru dealership in my area, and I put the deposit down and have the receipt/invoice.

Are people actually getting orders placed? In other words, are dealerships actually putting the orders into Subaru's system? It's one thing for a dealer to take an order and accept a deposit, but it's another to officially have an order placed. I spoke with Van Bortel in NY and they said they have no received any pricing or knowledge of when orders can be placed. One guy even said possibly a month away. That just doesn't make sense if other dealerships are placing orders now. Confused...

I've heard the same from dealers around here. People claim to have invoices/receipts, but I don't see how since you don't have a VIN. Perhaps they are just receipts for having put a deposit.

I have a VON from Clint that states when car is estimated to arrive (April) and a location of 200003. Whatever that means.

SOA ordering has been open since Friday. If the dealer is part of SOA and placed an "official order", they should be able to provide the customer with an order number (VON). The VIN is not generated until the car is actually built, so you wouldn't have it at the time of ordering. Hope this helps...

Erie. I've definitely had my fair share of bad experiences with them (service.) But aside from them not coming down low enough on price, the car buying process in this specific case was really nothing to complain about. I'm not giving up on my deposit just yet...

.

Isn't Clint 24.6k for a base? That's about the same but if it let me buy local for Clint like prices then Costco membership would be the way to go.

That includes ALL dealership fees. Heuberger Motors charges an additional $400 for dealership fees, so his price is $25k. Only a $500 difference, but a difference nonetheless.

Does your price include destination?

I also don't see how your "thousands under invoice" adds up when the base WRX MSRP is $26,300. So you are $2,000 under MSRP?

Maybe it's a west coast thing? NY/NJ dealers claim to not be able to place orders til march.

Maybe there accepting orders at different time for different regions to keep the demand in line so nobody waits ridiculously long for a new order on one.
