MSRP is actually $27,090 with del/dest. Clint is offering $24,612 with del/dest.

Van Bortel and all other Subaru dealers in NY and northern NJ don't buy their cars from SOA. Instead, they must buy them from the local distributor, Subaru Distributors Corp (SDC). SDC sets its own prices for cars, accessories, parts, destination, etc. Sometimes, there's a lag between when SOA's dealers can place orders and when SDC's dealers can do so.

That includes ALL dealership fees. Heuberger Motors charges an additional $400 for dealership fees, so his price is $25k. Only a $500 difference, but a difference nonetheless.
If base goes for 24.5K with dealer fee's then that's a hell of a price. The only question that remains is will my local dealers be as crappy as they always have been?

By chance do you know the price for Premium and Limited?

Is it...

Premium 26.5K

Limited 27.5K

?

Does this also give you invoice on the HK/Keyless option? Limited w/HK plus keyless = 29.2k

That would be GRRRRREAT!

For you buying from Clint- does he add his $395 dealer prep fee on top of the Subaru $795 dest & deliv fee? Thanks.

I am aware SDC manages cars to NY/NJ (northern). However, a district rep told my dealer they should be able to order this week, but then others are hearing March. Why would there be a month delay in ordering?

Yes, I know that for a fact. I know several people that purchased Subarus from Heuberger, and they add $400 on top of the MSRP and D/H.

The base price was $24k flat, which includes D&H, and the MSRP (w/ D&H) is 27.1k. I then had to pay a $500 dealership fee, which is actually a law set in the Denver metro area by the city council, so it's practically unavoidable no matter where you go.

$25,612 - Invoice with destination:
$24,500 - You paid w/dealer fee
$ 1,112 - Savings from invoice

You got an amazing deal - the best I've seen quoted so far. I think it had less to do with Costco and more about what the dealer could get you.

Well, no dealer in area "has them" yet, but they are taking orders in Northern Virginia at least. Of course, they could always back out of their agreed upon price (I also have it in email), but I doubt they would do that. And if they did, I would back out of my deposit which is fully refundable.

Gotcha. Yeah, I shopped a few dealers, and one agreed to beat the other. Not the best deal in the world compared to some on here, but I need to trade in my car, etc....and it's not worth the hassle to me. Ain't nobody got time for that!!

Is it asking too much for people to follow some sort of format?

Something like

Dealer (if you want to)
Trim
Color
CVT Y/N
NAV/HK/Keyless combo, if any
Sundry options

Doc Fee:

Total price with destination (before tax):

Possible Delivery Date?:

I know I'm a bit new out here and, perhaps, shouldn't be making such requests, but sheesh.

Put in my order for a Limited WRX 6MT with Nav/HK/push start, short shifter package, auto dimming mirror with homelink, center arm rest, and wheel locks. Ordered from my local dealership on Feb. 14th and got it for a little above invoice, but with the lower processing fee it is invoice compared to Clint. I'm glad I went this route since I am first on the list now. Hopefully I can get some discounts on accessories as well I also plan to get a set of rims to replace the stock 17" prior to delivery. What size are the stock rims. Would 17x8 5x114 Enkei or BBS rims fit with the stock tires? Anyone else looking at different rims as well?

MSRP was $33,572. Does anyone know what invoice would be for this with the options that I listed above? Does anyone even know what invoice pricing is for certain options or packages?

Ordered our WRX Limited DSM CVT with Nav/Keyless/H&K. Added Homelink mirror, All-weather floor mats, and Trunk tray.

Agreed to 3% below MSRP. Invoice pricing varies 5.8-6.1% below MSRP. Invoice varies slightly depending on options.

Arrival date varies from others posts: Last Week of May
They did think it would arrive much sooner.

$284 is the price according to the options list in Clint's thread. Not sure if that is MSRP or Invoice.

I am getting that, too, along with the all season mats ($72), and the interior illumination kit ($202).
