I don't remember hearing anything about a denver meet. However, it looks like we are on for a Springs meet around the first week of March. Maybe we could put it off for a bit and hit the Subaru dealer 'en masse' when the Rex finally gets stateside.

The next "denver" meet is going to be the autocross at Coor's Field on the 25th...

Be there!! Running at Coor's Field is a blast. They usually setup nice courses and it'll be out of the wind.

I think there is going to be a rally-x event on the 26th in commerce city. Check out: www.coloradorally.org for the list of events.

Tom,

It's definitely ok to come down and check things out. I'm sure one of us will give you a ride too, that'll hook you...

If you are thinking about running autocross this summer, these winter series events are the best place to get some practice. They don't really count for anything and everyone is much more relaxed. You'll find a lot more people willing to give rides at winter events.

Don't forget, there's an ice autox this Sunday at Rainbow Falls outside of Woodland Park. You guys missed the show the 4 jeeps put on. Mega-hp and roostertails and noise! The fastest car went a 55, the fastest jeep did a 46. Apples and oranges I know. They're also a little too hairy for that little pond we play on.

*remembers all the long arguments he had with his redneck idaho friend regarding whether the jeep or the subaru impreza was better*

It always ended with the fact that one is built for one thing and the other is built for another... just those pusposes are remotely related...

Uhhh, ok

Hooters... sounds all right.

I don't think you know this, but I'm only 18 years old. So any establishment that only allows patrons to be 21 years or older are restricted to me.

So, that leaves most good bars out for me. I mean, you guys could go if you want. Don't let me hold you back.

how are the Hooter Girls in the Springs? The ones in Ft. Collins aren't anything special. Now the ones in the West End of Dallas are in-freaking-credible (but they get all those business guys so they have to be).

Tom, don't worry, we can take you to DeJaVu

I dunno about the hooter's girls in C/S - I have to wear blinder's everytime we walk by there with my wife at the mall

How about Beujo's (sp) pizza in old colorado city on the west end of C/S, and then a ride up into the mountains?

I think I'm with Larry on this one. Maybe it has to do with my opinion of the female population down here. Colorado Springs has, per capita, the largest number of ugly women. (zzziiiip - the Dizman dons his flamesuit) Old Colorado City sounds good. We are just a minute or so off the ramp to 24 and a cruise up to the mountains.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say we should have it the second saturday of March (March 10). We can do an early lunch at 11:30 and go for a canyon run. Any objections?

PS - for any of you from up north that would like to come down the night before, I have an extra room and sleeping space. We also have 2 cats. No allergics need apply.
