New to the forums... I'm a student at Appalachian State, but my parents live in Charlotte, so you may see me around on the weekends and over the summer.

Hey guys, got an oil question for you all. Do you guys pay attention to the recommended time interval when changing oil? I'm running full syn and have just under 3k miles on it but it's been in there for like 5 months. Think I'm good for another 1-2 k or should I change it? It's looking pretty dark on the dip stick. I also auto x'd over the weekend so that's making me think sooner is better too but I'm curious for the future.

The auto x was the coolest thing ever and I saw some other guys on here there. We should do that as our next meet.

I usually just follow the Subaru recommended service interval which is every 3750 miles.

I'm planning on attending AX #2 on the 5th. If we register with SCCA do we get a free AX entry?

I'm planning on attending as well. I'm addicted for sure.

I'm going to just change it a little early since Sunday is supposed to be nice and I don't have anything else to do. I thought about it and realized it was more like 6-7 months since I last changed. So it's pretty darn old even though I haven't put any miles on it. Having a 5 min commute to work sure keeps the miles down.

Hey fellas, anyone want to buy Nameless Performance 2011+ 4" ABE w/ 3.5" Quad Dbl Wall Tips (Non-Staggered)?

Traded in my beloved '13 STi sedan this past week but was able to keep the exhaust. So, I'm now selling it and am including the 4 black Nameless Performance hanger bushings I purchased with the exhaust. No damage, in perfect condition...just a little dirty. Will clean them up as best I can, prior to selling. My STi was garage kept and never off-roaded. Drove up to Ohio one time, a few months ago, and that's it. No signs of deterioration whatsoever. Was only installed for 8k miles. Please PM or text me all inquiries. Can text pics. First one to Paypal me gets it.

Would rather sell it locally so I don't have to eat shipping charges. Ask around and let me know. I'll let it go for $550 which, I think, is totally fair (I'll even throw in some decals and a coozie that Ryan and the guys sent me).

Hey does anyone have a flare wrench? (I wanna say 10mm)

I'm trying to do SS brake lines and so far everything (pb blaster, heat gun, vise grips) has failed horribly. Haven't rounded the nuts yet at least.

Any and all help appreciated. Would prefer not to have to buy one or take the car to a shop when it's one stupid step holding me back.

I wanna say I had one when I changed my lines. I'll look when I get to the house. I was able to get all of mine out with the exception of the passenger front. I ended up using big channel locks and a really strong grip lol. Really marred it up though.

What year is your car?

Think I've got a source on one.

And it's an 08. Despite never seeing much in the way of winter it just has a few bastardly bolts.
