After I move back to the SLC area, I will just about turn 5k on the odo. Who is the best dealer in the SLC area? What am I looking at in terms of price and time?
Thanks for your help.

You are picking the wrong state for a good dealer
Nate Wade took Suberboy's car for a joy ride. I have personally never had problems with them and they do good timely work, but Suberboy's story was kind of bad. They did no damage but were talking about the joyride while he was standing there. Mark Miller caused me to blow 2 head gaskets and warp the heads and put a used timing belt on my car and they are really slow about doing the work they do. Larry H. Miller has done good work for me, they are slow and far from downtown though. I had them change a wiring harness and didn't produce any extra ratlles which I was expecting. And that is all the dealers in SLC. just flip a coin or something I guess. However, since Mark Miller caused over $3000 damage to my car not under warranty and didn't cover their own work, I would NOT suggest them. |

I recommend Larry H. Miller out at about 90th South State. I bought my car there, and haven't had any problems with them regarding nitpicky problems of mine.

Nate wade took forever to do my 22.5k service, but that's probably mostly because they had to replace a front control arm (I had just bought the car
... it pulled a little to the right but I didn't even suspect a control arm )I took my car to Mark Miller to check for a head gasket leak (I was getting a "flowing water" sound from the engine) I dropped it off at 7:00am, I called at various times throughout the day, wasn't done yet, etc. Finally at 5:00pm I got a call: "Ummm someone else had a car that looked like yours and we've been looking at it all day on accident, you'll have to bring it back another day" I also scheduled my 44.5 service @ mark miller via their website and never recieved a response... I've never dealt with Larry H. Miller. |

I am on my second subie from mark Miller, and I have never had any problems with them. i will agree that they are a bit on the slow side, but up until now they have bee working out of a small shop space. they just did a full remodel and they seem to do things alot quicker, as well as they are really friendly, ie always asking me about my WRX and how it is doing and what mods I have and how they are working out etc.
Nate Wade, minimal experience in service, but in sales I felt that they were kind of snakes in the grass. Larry Miller, I have worked for them when I was in colledge. Their motto is "Will Rape for Money" in the sales dept and in service. It is all about the bottom dollar for them. But hey these are just my experiences... |
