Christian was really helpful... Boy the decisions I need to make now. A turbo back exhaust first or a boost controller+fuel controller first... This will be a tough one I think. Both give better performance, both are over 1K, and I want both right now!!!

Well, I can shoot some slides and then those can be scanned in, or prints can be shot and scanned in, whatever... Just let me know. I will be in Italy for a week on a shoot starting Tue, so I wont be able to reply until Wed the 30th. unless I can find an english computer on the internet over there.

Cool, I was in Italy last year. What part of Italy are you going to?

Well I talked to Christian over the weekend and we have my oil return line all figured out now. He mentioned that the best source for my oil is the oil pressure tap, but I think that is in the front of the motor and too far away. I didn't realize that there was a science in just EGT probes... Christian knows his stuff.

The 2nd is fine for me, but it sounds like i'm gonna have to camp out in SLC again, i don't want to drive to SLC twice, and we usually do something in the evening anyways...

Cool

I'm sure we could find a place for ya.

You still have that IC, Dave?
I still would like to take it off your hands.

If everyone could check in so I can get an idea of how many of you will show up, I would appreciate it.

I may be able to show up, but alas, my car will not. This turbo is going to get into my car if it kills me.

I did get my oil feed ordered (sources the oil from the oil pressure sender... recommended by Christian). I also got the STi engine mounts to make sure I don't have any turbo pipes banging around. Oh, and my turbo rebuild kit should be here today too

I HAVE A SWAY BAR!!!!

We installed the lateral links and sway bar monday night. I haven't noticed much difference yet. I'm eagerly awaiting the next race.

I will probably have a bigger/better flowing exhaust by then too(thanks to Dave's brother). Oh yeah, louder too.......

No way! With 10 people it won't take more than 5 minutes

Actually, now that I think about it, I wouldn't want to interrupt the meet w/ something like that.

I don't really know when I'm going to get them, since they're coming from OZ, but would anyone be interested in an install party the thursday or friday before the meet if they come in by then?

Who did you order them from?

There was a guy on I-club(from Australia) selling them for $500 USD a set!!!!!
That is an insane price, I would like coil-overs, but have to be happy with what I have.
As long as you have all the necessary tools it shouldn't take more than 3 hours to do all 4(baring any complications).

My exhaust will be on by mid week...

Alan,

I ordered them from the guy you're talking about. $500 for Tein RA's does seem insane! That's about the same price as the v5 struts and springs I was thinking of getting. I guess since they're slightly used and especially since the australian dollar is so weak, it's a doable price for him...
