Default Allow me to reintroduce myself

Hello all, I wanted to take a minute to say hey to the Nasioc community and reintroduce myself under a different username. I am a long-time Subaru owner (98 2.5RS, 94 Impreza Wagon, 02 WRX, 00' Impreza Sport, 04 FXT) and Nasioc supporter. I am also a Marketing and International Business graduate from the University of Wis. La Crosse who has always had passion for the automotive world. I worked my way through college at a local Ford/Lincoln Dealership and am now part of the team at Grimmspeed in beautiful Minneapolis, Minnesota. A dream of mine years in the making. Recently I upgraded from my Bugeye into something that I have had my eye on for years. I had a few specifics in mind: 03-05 turbo, 5-speed, clean title, clean body/drivetrain, rust-free, preferably in gold or white. After about 6 months of run-around through different dealers this Fozzy popped up on the F/S section at my local forum (MNSubaru.com) and long story short, I made the trip to the cities to pick her up. It was a Texas car for 95% of its life and is as clean as a whistle underneath, clean title, great looking exterior and interior, and just an all together well looked-after car. As a bonus all the major 100k maintenance items including, timing belt, waterpump, rebuilt turbo, pulleys, gaskets, etc were done. Besides a full Turbo XS exhaust, AP2, a set of Blizzacks, and some crappy audio equipment (gone now) it is stock. I'm planning on a modest-budget wheel setup (Drag Dr-31, Extreme Contact DW, BC coils) for the Spring along with some other suspension and mild STI engine upgrades. Keep a lookout for a build thread in the future and don't hesitate to PM me with any and all questions you may have for me or for Grimmspeed.

I never really liked the headlights for the second generation before the refresh. I like the refreshed headlights and the fact that the second generation Subaru Forester was the generation to get VDC on one of the trims. No VDC, no care. ;<

Yes, more Fozzzzzzzzzz! I know the pain of finding a 5spd - I had to fly to Reno to buy mine, after 2 months of searching.

How is the drone on that exhaust?

Hello! I've got my money on Wisconsin making it to the final 4. I'd like to see them in the championship now that Duke blew it (again).

But I still anticipate my alma mater, Michigan State, will take the overall win.

I love it, enough to know it's there during regular driving and a healthy rumble when you get on her.

Same here The Duke/Mercer game made me take an extended lunch which in turn resulted in yelling from my boss, well worth it though. Wisc/Baylor is definitely going to be a nailbiter, but I think we have a chance to pull it off. Yeah yeah, we'll see about that!

Tires came in today and coilovers are on their way, if all goes to plan she'll be low low low by the weekend.

If it makes you feel any better, my Bruins are going to take Florida on Thursday, so you won't have to sweat facing UF.

Congrats man, post up a link to a intro/build thread when you get a chance! GL.

Wheels are ready to go, now anxiously waiting for the coils.

Very good, we appreciate your support! I had some time to throw on my spring setup this weekend, I'll most likely drop her another few inches before the local meets start back up.

Haha, don't worry it's getting dialed back when my new cam bolts come in, I couldn't resist hitting the curvy part of town this weekend though

Foz is looking super nice!

On a side, got my spacers in, seen a very noticeable jump in MPG! Intake temps dropped 40 deg at the TB and 30-ish down where it meets the head, super awesome!
