OK, first off, I understand that there's an auto-x this weekend at Coor's Field. Great... I would to like to watch it. I need directions!
Secondly... anybody that is participating in the auto-x, please give me a PM or an e-mail at imprezzive_rs@hotmail.com I am offering you a $25 discount on my high strength chromoly rear strut bar if you'd kindly test it out on your car during the auto-x and give me some feedback. Impreza coupes and sedans only! Have not designed the wagon version yet! Thank you! Tom

From I-25 North or South, take exit #212 20th Street (eastbound)
or Park Avenue exit 213 (eastbound). 1 Block east of Coors Field is Market Street. Make a left (northeast) on Market Street. Stay on Market Street (which becomes Walnut Street) until you get to 27th Street. Make another left on 27th Street and enter "Lot B". This is the ONLY entrance you can use to the event. Please respect the neighborhood, and keep the noise down when arriving and departing. Thanks! Registration closes promptly at 8:30, tech closes at 8:45. NOTE!!! It is STRONGLY suggested that cars not exceed 93 dBa noise levels while running at Coors Field! Cars exceeding 93 dBa may be excluded from running at the discretion of the event officials. yeah i found directions woohoo maybe i wont be as late as i am thinkin i will be |

1. I've never participated in an auto-x ever
2. Membership to SCCA? Don't have it... not sure if I need it for this one... ? 3. Dba level... well... I have the JC Sports exhaust... it's pretty damn loud. I don't think I would be below the 93 level? 4. Setup? Stock suspension, stock tires, stock rims... If I am eligable to participate, I might think about it. But, I need more information regarding participation! Thanks, Tom |

So, am I eligable to participate? That website just said $35 registration... $5 off for SCCA members. Do I need to be a member of anything... it doesn't say. So, I assume not?

anyone can participate. To pass tech you need your car to be empty of loose items, tires have good tread, the battery tied down, and your throtle return and brakes work.
-Ro [edit]: I'd test your bar, but I already have a CUSCO one Sorry, I misread at first and thought it was a front bar ![]() [This message has been edited by Strepto (edited February 23, 2001).] [This message has been edited by Strepto (edited February 23, 2001).] |

no newbie program, but there is a rookie class for first year drivers. Entry fees at coors are $35 for non-members and $30 for members. This is considered high, but the sight "rental" is not cheap! Just show up and have fun. This is one of the last 3 winter events that don't count for points. It's the best time to get started because everyone is very laid back. Durring the summer, people take competition very seriously and aren't quite as friendly.
