Default Harness connector source?

I'd like to start playing with my engine management electronics but I'd rather not cut into my factory wiring.

I know that Supra folks have the Field's Harness which is essentially a little extension harness that connects to the ECU and to the factory ECU harness, so you can just buy one of these and splice into it instead of your factory wires. As far as I can tell, nobody makes these for any type of Subaru.

My car is a 1993 Legacy Turbo. It appears to be the case that all early 90s Legacies used the same connectors, so I suppose I could try to buy an ECU with harness connector from a wrecked Legacy and cannibalize the ECU for its connector. I tried local junkyards and they couldn't help me. I also don't want to spend too much.

Any ideas where you might be able to buy the relevant connectors? I know that my ECU at least appears to be manufactured by Hitachi.

Thanks.
