Post JC Sports

Hi everyone -- I guess I could contact JC Sports directly, but since I've been surfing, I thought I'd just post this... If I were to have parts that I needed help installing, would I be able to go to JC Sports to do it?

Kelvin

Cool

Depending on the parts, there's a bunch of people in the area that enjoy a good wrench. I think we're even installing suspension this weekend. What do you need to install?

I haven't purchased the parts yet, but I was looking at suspension! I'd love to get the STi struts & springs -- that's what I'd love to do, to not only watch, but to get my hands dirty as well...

I, for one, have done a few suspension installs on the GC8 Impreza. Don't know how different it would be for the new ones. Anyhow, it is a relatively simple process. I'm sure any of us would be more than willing to help you do the install yourself. Why pay when you can do it yourself?!

So you have two people that have pretty much volunteered themselves. I work for beer, I can't speak for the rest of these guys though. If you're interested, just shoot me a PM. I'm going to be doing a suspension swap sometime in the next week, you can always come and watch/help with that if you're interested.

Hey Brian,
Are you still gonna help me put my new suspension in?
I've got my V5 struts sitting in my garage and I'm just waiting on my Eibach Prodrive Springs to arrive.
I've got plenty of cold beer for anyone interested in helping this newbie.

Regards,
Stacey

Wow! Thanks for the hospitality! I'd love to be able to hook-up with you guys sometime. It'd be nice to network with some guys down here since coming down from Canada...

Thanks again, guys.

Yes you can go to JC Sports to have you parts installed. Or you can get in touch with Extreme Imports. If you need any parts let me know, I am making a big order from MRT and it's cheaper for everybody if I make the order as big as possible.

Thanks guys! (where are you guys all located?) I currently live in a set of apartments near the I-25 & Lincoln, and there is (was) a 98 black 2dr Impreza with a ski rack on it, a silver 2dr Impreza -- both of which are gone now & a red one with the word Subaru removed from the back with a nice set of rims that all live in the same complex, but I never got a chance to meet them! Anyways, I'm thinking of starting with a sway bar. My car will see pavement most of the time -- I don't plan on doing a lot of rallying with it. Any suggestions on what sway bar, size to get? I'd love to come hang out this weekend with you guys, but I've got a friend flying in from Toronto that I've got to play host to. Maybe next time...
