Default Power steering super stiff after warmed up

Yes! You read the title correctly. When I start my car in the mornings, of course my engine is cold, and my steering turns very quickly and smoothly (I don't drive my car without warming it up for about 10 min. Only tested the steering while it's cold a few times to experiment). Right after my car is warm, it pretty much loses it's power steering! I need two hands while turning.
Another note: if I press the gas pedal, the steering gets easier to move as well. Even if the car is not rolling, I'm just gassing, the steering is a lot easier to turn.
Another note: there is NO whine when I turn the steering while it's cold. When it's warmed up, it's very whiny, and stiff
Any suggestions? Would really like to get this sorted out.

And I diluted/"flushed" my power steering fluid with a turkey baster maybe 1k miles ago.
I have also changed all of my drive belts about 1k miles ago
This steering problem has always been here since I bought the car April 2013. Just didn't bother me as much until now.

Definatly a fun one to trouble shoot. When you say you diluted your power steering im assuming you took as much of it out as you coukd then refilled it. Have you asked for anyome to look at the fluid levels when you turn the wheel? Almost sounds like theres an air bubble forming after running for a while. Maybe a problem with the valves in the pump itself which may be sensitive to the rising heat in the engine bay? Have you noticed if it gets worst gradually perhaps?

I would suggest trying to bleed the system first and proper refill. Then replacing the pump if it doesnt solve it.

yes, that's basically what I meant by saying I diluted it. The fluid level is fine. I open the cap to the power steering resivore and there's no bubbles in there. I could try bleeding the system though.

Belt tight enough? Maybe when it warms up it expands and then is too loose and slips on the pulley. Then you gas it and the RPMs are enough to turn the pump/pulley.

yeah, the belt is tight enough. I got all the belts replaced not too long ago as well.

Same issue here, though it's not that bad/annoying yet. I have 950 miles on my 2014 WRX.

Having the same issue, except now I got a rattle like studdering while steering. And when I give it gas while turning the wheel , it squeals and kills the car, like it freezes up. Maybe planning on changing the pump tomorrow. Any thoughts? Note all this is while idling still. 04 wrx.
