On that note, will you guys and gals have some driving instructors their? Or, be accepting volunteers to do so?

It doesn't look like there is. Just sign up and enjoy it. Ask the organizers and other autocrossers lots of questions. They're usually glad to help.

Actually the classes are very broad. I'll have to run in "Turbo Prepared (upgraded turbos, tread wear 140- tires, stripped interiors, lexan windows, engine swaps)", but will definitely not be competitive. It will just be for fun.

We dont do newbie classes, typically we get a good percentage of entrants who are first timers. Everyone is always very friendly and we will have (limited) instruction staff ready to assist.

We will have a limited number of instructors, and can definitely always use more. If you're interested please shoot me an email at info(at)boxerfest.com. Thanks!

dont be afraid to ask other drivers to take a ride with you or offer up your vehicle for them to drive while you ride shotgun and observe and learn. lots of friendly folks who are always willing to lend a hand in the auto-x community.

Hey, all northern virginia people... Would anyone want to caravan to this? I've got the Fredericksburg area people and maybe the Woodbridge people meeting up (details not set, yet) and cruising up 95. So we could pick up anyone all the way up 95 that wanted to join. Fairfax people, Arlington people, whoever. Hell, if we time it right, any caravans that come up 66 can meet up with us, too.

Not lookin for any speeding or racing or illegal driving. Maybe I'll get some good gopro footage lol.

find the "woodbridge folks" thread, we'll discuss it there so we don't completely hijack the Boxerfest thread.
