I'm sorry to hear about this, it sucks, I know. This wasn't because of the stink you put up over smokers, right? I hope not, because you could possibly sue for that.

As for ideas, I'm sure the springs guys could help you out more than I can, but I'm sure there is plenty of jobs down there. I'm sure you've heard of monster.com, I have had some luck there. If you are getting out of the NA/Hardware tech stuff, what do you want to do? Good luck in your job search, don't worry, things happen for a reason....

JJ

I've had luck on both monster.com and dice.com

Both are very good sources to find companies looking for computer techs/specialists.

Sorry to hear about the job man. If there's anything I can do to help, just let me know.

I'll let you know if I hear anything around here.

Later,
Tom

Hey if you want to go to College and work at the same time, I could get you a job real quick. The pay pretty much sucks though. On second thought about this Brian- have you thought about a state job? Let me tell ya a little bit about a state job in the classified system:

1) You get benefits. (medical/dental/401k on and on)
2) After your probationary period, they can't fire you unless you basically do something illegal.
3) They appreciate hard work and that's why they are going to the pay-for-performance plan for bonuses, raises, etc.

Example Job

This job is working where I work, at Metro State College. There are a bunch of other state jobs, just go to this Link .

Consider it, yes the pay is lower than the private sector, but you will never get laid off when you are a classified employee and you will never get fired for some kind of bull**** reason.
