Default GT2871R vs Tomei Arms M7960 or M7760

Question is in the title! For a Ej22 phase 2 sti rod wiseco piston, Ej205 head GP moto equal lenght headers full 3'' turbo back 750cc injectors....

The best turbo for lapping, autocross application!

Why limit yourself to those three turbos. They're all pretty old school. I have a gt2871 and back in 2006 when I bought it it was awesome. But these days there are better options.

I concur, there are better options. Granted, I'm not sure what "phase 2" means, but still.

You want a bb turbo. The garret is the only one that is. Look at the gtx turbos by garret. Quite frankly, check out the blouch 16g xtr as well. You need to define hp goals to really make a decision.

I'll have my APS sr40 for sale in a few weeks hopefully (gt2876 stock location with a 9.5cm turbine housing) I got full boost around 4,400 on my stock ej205 using 93 with an el header/fmic.

Phase 2 mean thrust bearing un 5 position, I only got STI connecting rod, and my limit will be 400 crank HP, i prefer someting with nice spool, not like a GT30 that got is full boost a 5K rpm..

But the HP is not really my goal, i like the M7760, people review it that it spool like a 16G but punch like a 20G so...

Blouch Dom 1.5xtr with the 8cm should be right up your alley.
