Ok, so i'm trying to wire in a relay so that it cuts the security/keyless wires during count down, and keeps them together at all other times. Is there a line of the timers that is only active during count down? Specifically the HKS type 1, but it should be the same.....does the timer ignition wire only active during countdown? If so that wire would be perfect....
Thanks! |

ok so i found a new problem.....my speed on the turbo timer is almost double what the actualy speed is...and I know its in kilometers, but its still says i'm doing 100km/h when i'm doing 50km/h.....is there a resistor that I need to put in there or something? Anyone else having this problem?
Thanks... |

Electronically a turbo timer detects when the ignition is switched off and uses a relay to keep the ignition in the "on" state as though the key were not switched off at all. I've designed my own turbo timer/EBC unit so I use a few special things that others do not seem to use but in principle it's the same.

ok, so if I tap the ignition wire off the timer, it should be logic low when the car is on through the key, and logic high when its counting down?
If so that would be perfect for what I am using my relay for....Also, tell me more about your custom design...i'm curious ![]() |
