Default EJ207 v9 In Legacy 2.5 GT Limited?

Has this swap ever been done before?

Besides the ecu/harness shouldn't this swap bolt right in? Maybe custom mounts?

I've searched high and low for this swap and found nothing. Any info would help!

Thanks!

What year LGT?
It will bolt right in no custom mounts needed for any year. If it's an MY05-09 I would probably not even mess with merging the harness and just swap over the engine harness and use a WRX or STi DBW intake with TGV deleted and get a custom tune. If it's and older one then a harness merge will be needed.

2007 LGT. I was planning on using the JDM ecu and harness.

I'm thinking about swapping the 2.0GT engine into my 05 LGT. I'd imagine the only thing you'd have to do is use your engine harness with that engine. The only difference (other than the obvious displacement, compression and turbo) I see is next to the bottom of the valve cover(s), there are sensors that aren't on USDM models. I'm not sure what those would be for exactly so I will need to search for that.

I'm subbing to this thread for any info I can get. I wanted to do an H6 but I need this car ready ASAP.
