Post Attn: Denver folks! I am here until Friday, let's hang out!

Hey Denver area guys,

I am in town for a trade show until Friday morning. If anybody wants to get together for dinner or drinks or partying or whatever let me know! I'm staying at the Mariott City Center, 303-297-1300 room 1203. Give me a call at the hotel or on my cell at 864-363-3106 if you want to meet up, or post here and I'll check it as soon as I can.

We're done each day at around 4 so I'm pretty much free after that. Thurs. we'll be busy until 6 or so, so the schedule is pretty decent.

I'm looking forward to meeting some Denver folks!

-Jason Porter

I could be in, what's the story with this? Where are you guys going/doing? I would have to get the o.k. from my girlfriend, but I'm sure she'd be cool with it. So what's the story with Thursday?

I may be able to trek up there for a night. That will give me an excuse to stop by JCSports and get my boost controller.

Well, when I called JJ to suggest we do this for Porter, I gave two suggestions.

1. We could hang out somewhere in Denver area for dinner, coffee... whatever. Bars... I can't go in bars, so... I'm out for that. Hooters... and I allowed in there? How bout Old Chicago diner? Starbucks? I don't know... that's what we used to do when we'd hang out in Boise, ID.

2. We could trek up to my house. My aunt will gladly make dinner. Or, we could eat dinner at one of the casinos. I'm allowed in if I just eat dinner. Afterwards you folks could go spend some money in the casino. The road up to my house is extemely fun to drive, BTW. Speed limit never goes over 40 and there's hairpins, long curves, s-turns... etc. Don't worry about speeding... cops are never on the road. Until you get to Gilpin county which is only a couple of miles of the road.

It's about an hour drive up to my place.

Later,
Tom

I talked to Porter earlier and he said it was up to us what we want to do because he is up for anything. It would be Thursday night, and Porter isn't done with the show until 6pm, so it would be some time after that. He is staying downtown at the Marriot on the 16th street mall. So, let's get a count of who's going and what we want to do.

To speed this process up so we can actually have a meet, please PAGE ME ASAP. My pager number is below, along with the email addy you can use to send it an email (230 chars or less).

If you chose the email-page route, just give me:

1. Your name
2. What you would like to do (dinner, etc in denver or Black Hawk/Tom's)
3. Phone where I can reach you.

If you have any suggestions where we should go, page me and I will call you back.

My vote would be Old Chicago's or something along those lines. That way those of us that can drink legally can and those that can't can still hang. Either way, it doesn't matter to me, I live in between Tom and Downtown so whatever you guys want is cool. Hooters would be cool, anyone can get in there and they have boobs galore (and beer). Like I said whatever the majority wants to do is cool by me.

I'm game for either! Old Chicago probably gets my vote though, I have a weakness for dark beer... Hehe.

I'll be happy with any plan though, Bratmantlz I hope you'll get to come into town so I can place the ol' chat sessions with a face. How's the bike?

I may bring a co-worker or two with me too, sorry it's all guys on this trip, sometimes there are hotties traveling too...

Let me know what everybody decides.

I can get to any of them no problem. Let me know which one and a time and I'll make it happen. We'll say 6:30 at the absolute earliest so we can get cleaned up after the convention.

Driving directions are easy, get the street address off of yellowpages.com and then plug it into Mapquest to get directions.

Here's the address from yellowpages.com

8711 WADSWORTH BLVD, ARVADA, CO 80003

So, from wherever you're coming from, plug in your home address and then that so get driving directions.
