Post Pike Peak Auto Hill Climb - who's going to be there?

Hello Rocky Mountian I-clubbers.

I just wanted to let you know that my friend Kevin and I would be driving our cars out to Pike's Peak for the auto hill climb this year. We'd love to meet up with some of you guys if possible.

Feel free to contact me via e-mail jsimmons@mwsoc.org

Kevin and I will also be there willing to demo side panel enclosures for the Impreza coupe. http://www.geocities.com/subee_sound

drop us a line or post here to let us know who all is going and where you guys might want to meet up at.

Best regards,

Jon http://www.nebraska.mwsoc.org

Me and a couple of my car buddies will be heading out to the hillclimb. I would be glad to meet up with anybody out there. Anybody know the exact dates and locations so I can try (keyword: try) to get a hotel room?

I have wanted to attend this since I got out here 5 years ago. This summer I'll be gone as well. I guess I was just not meant to attend. Oh well.

the race is on the 30th of june a saturday qualifying is the 28th and practice before that lodging will be tight in colo spgs so try the surrounding areas like Fountain a little south but if you need rooms and cant get them try there

for theis going try to be in line @ the gate arround 3:00 to 4:30 am to get in asap and not wait back on the highway

after going to the hill climb for almost 20 years I have found that I like the pits the best so try park @ the dam and walk up to the pits check out the cars then hike up the road and watch the cars go by... then you can get down the mountain the fastest and not have to wait in the trafic lines risk getting rear ended by someone...

Yep, I plan to be at Pikes Peak race. If you see me cruising in area of Chapel Hills Mall, give a beep. I live near there.

alright, it appears that i and omahasubaru are staying at the best villa or something like that in the springs, so we should be pretty close by everyone. First off though, I want to find a good steak house to eat at friday night once we get there. I believe Jon and I decided to leave pretty early so we can get to CS at like 5pm or so. Lets get a place to meet and go eat, and cruise for awhile. One of you CS guys needs to head this up and take charge and get some stuff set up, whos up for the challenge. At this rate, the hill climb meet will be bigger than the USA meet. hahaha
