Default I need a DVD recommendation for tonight.

I want to pick up a new DVD to watch tonight, but I'm really at a loss as to what to get.

I'm not in the mood for a comedy, or something super dramatic, just a really cool movie.

Anyone got anything good to recommend?

Ferg

(last two DVDs bought were "Dogtown and Z Boys" and "The French Connection")

I just watched "Frailty" again the other night - such a twisted
(but good) movie.
"Windtalkers" just came out on video, too. I have yet to see it,
but John Woo is always entertaining...

new releases: go with Brotherhood of the Wolf. if you liked the Matrix, you will love this movie.

Frailty is pretty good too.

if you're not feeling comedy or drama.....i suggest Boondock Saints....hard to find tho. good luck.

That seems to be my problem with movies lately. I've seen almost everything good, and it's getting harder and harder to find new movies. I have to keep going further back.

There's an Ed Burns documentary on Frank Lloyd Wright that I'd like to see.

I just got goosebumps when I read that.

great movie.

Tape Heads = John Cusak and Tim Robbins as 80's music video directors. Obscure movie and kinda funny.

I haven't seen insomnia yet, I think i'm going to rent that this weekend.

I just got the "Official Bootleg Copy, Directors Cut" Version

its pretty cool. Has the alternate original begining and extra scenes throughout the movie. The cut scenes make the movie darker.

The Mission! I haven't seen that in a long time. DeNiro as a monk....(a Spanish monk no less), fantastic soundtrack by Ennio (if you don't know who he is than you've led an empty life ). I might get that.

My Science Project...."Dude! Turn on the BLOWER!!!"

Johnny Got His Gun....isn't that a movie about Metallica?
