Default Intake manifold Gaskets?

I am getting ready to install my STi injectors and Samco turbo inlet hose and it sure looks like it would be easier if I removed the intake manifold.

Question I have is are there any gaskets that would need to be replaced if I remove the manifold?

Thanks!!!

Yes, 2 intake manifold gaskets should be replaced. They are cheap, I don't see any reason to risk a problem when the labor to pull the IM is far more than the few $ for the gaskets.

The short answer is yes. This thread has service manual scans which shows an overview of the intake manifold and related parts, as well as removal/installation instructions:

Any item shown in the diagram with a "star" should be replaced if you expose it during removal.

Man...you are my hero.

Thanks a ton. However, I want to do this tonight and none of my local dealers have the gaskets.

So, I don't think I am going to remove the manifold. I'll get the intlet tube and injectors in somehow...
