Post Review - Second Creek from yesterday

Well it was a pretty nice day to be at Second Creek. There were 4 Imprezas but only 3 of them were out on the track.

Other cars there were:
2 Audi S4's
1 Audi A4 1.8T
1 Audi A4 2.8 Avant
2 BMW 325i's
1 VW GTI VR6
1 Acura NSX
2 Porsche 356's (these were nice)
1 Porsce 914
1 older Porsche Carerra
Several serious race type cars
several motorcycles.

The motorcycles and the vintage cars wanted to run counter-clockwise and most of the street type cars wanted to go clockwise.

They broke the whole group into 3 smaller groups (motorcycles, cars going counter-clockwise, and cars going clockwise). Each group got 15 minutes on the track.

It was a perfect separation as you got about a 25 minute break between sessions. I got about 5 sessions in during the day.

One of the other Impreza's was ChainCat with his 2000 BRP RS with DMS coilovers. The other was Eugene (sp??) with his 94 purple sedan turbo.

I was right behind Eugene when he lost his brakes and went off the track in turn 4. He came right back up onto the track though with no damage.

All in all it was a pretty sweet day. I hope more of you can make it next time.

Regards,
Stacey

Muah hah hah... Yeah, it was a lot of fun. I was faster than the NSX. Of course, the dude driving was a bit old (er, I mean wise, yeah) and seemed to be taking it easy (aka wise and slow...). Anyways, I was definitely walking away from him in the corners but those damn older BMWs would pass me on the straights and rattle my helmet with their ultra baritone exhaust. All in all it was great fun. Those bikes were frickin fast. I can't wait for next time. Now I hope someone doesn't buy my DMS so I can keep bustin some moves.
