AutoX cancelled...

For those still in bed, too P*ssy to come down, the event was cancelled. Just thought I'd let everyone know that didn't already. It would have been a fun event, but alas there were no cones. Down at the parking lot, it was just a little wet, no snow sticking to the ground yet. The Suby's would have had a lot of fun.

could have been fun. Oh well, I was there at 6:30am and waited patiently and then had the nice long treck back up to Ft. Collins. It wasn't sticking, but man was it blowing. It didn't seem too bad, but there weren't alot of people there in the first place.

I posted to rmsolo@rmsolo.org about this exact issue last night before it was canceled this AM - I didn't want to get up 5am to drive up and have it canceled.

The weather report said cancel it the night before. Cliff says something like, "it aint weather till I see it" and "if you can make it out of the driveway you should show up". And the Mannix says he looks forward to a rallyx in snow. So, I show up 5 min after they cancel. The weather at the time was nicer than in Sept 2000 when we ran in the slush.

Talk about pissed. Lost 4 hours sleep, $20 in gas and octane booster, and all my prayers for a "free points day"...

it did suck, i was there too and everyone else was too p*ssy to show up or should i say drive...

damn colorado

i spent alot on gas too... tht really sucked. oh well rally tonight speedvision

I got about 18 inches of snow up here at my house. I was unable to get my car out of the driveway.

Sorry to hear about that guys.

We had a really very good day here in Ogden, expected a bit of rain but got absolutely none.

The big wagon ended up #7 of 11 in SM

I got up about 5am looked outside and knew it was canceled. I checked rmsolo and blam front page 22nd auto cross canceled. NNNNOOOooooo, back to bed.

So are is there a new date or is that it till next month?
