Post Who's up for the May 5/6 Cheyenne WY Autox?

I for one, cannot wait a whole month to run. So I'm headed up to the two day event in Cheyenne. I'm not staying there overnight, I've got two dogs to consider. I'll head up Saturday morning come back Sat night and do it again Sunday.

Anybody else interested in going? Maybe there'll be some new WRXs to beat up on.

Mapblast has it as 95 miles from Boulder which translates to and hour and a half driving time. I think we can get there quicker than that.

For more info go to http://www.cmcrmr.com/page5.html

What's the driving time going to be like? Just curious, I may be interested. I'll have to check plans though.

I don't think it's that far for us in Boulder. I'm not 100% though.

I'm seriously kicking the idea around. A guy I work with says its just about an hour and a half (from denver) to Sierra Trading Post (in Cheyenne). Maybe we could try to set some Denver-Cheyenne speed records

Dave, just make sure you slow down driving past Ft. Collins. There's a nice COSP HQ sitting right on I-25 as you pass Ft. FUN

I am also seriously considering this. I really want to do some type of race sooner rather than later. We'll see.

Brian -

Yep, for you, it is gonna be about a four hour trip from door to door. From boulder, it should be about 2 hours or so. I've driven up from Ft. Collins and it took me less than an hour. Bring a radar detector.

Cool, that's what I thought it would be. And don't worry, I'll be putting my radar detector in any car that I have to drive for more than an hour.

A little too far for me... I don't want to slide around cones in a parking lot THAT bad.

Brat,

Next auto-x is like May 26th or so. But hey... look at it this way: You have more time to prepare your car. You'll have a rear strut bar from me. Tires... Maybe more?
