The drive after was, well, interesting

Cops are so much fun sometimes. For such POS's anyway And that twit on the bike put his life in risk. So yeah, the drive was a lot of fun. Probably be the most memorable meet we ever have. Good luck topping this one Scoobyslack.

First, sorry about not waiting loooonnngggerrr for you Idaho guys, but you could have talked to Christain on sunday.

OK, we had a minor incident with the LAW!
This was mainly due to one dumbass on a bicycle. Apparently, he called the cops and told them that we ran him off the road. So, when we were coming back down the canyon a Sheriff came up behind us, we pulled to the side(like good citizens) to let him by. He got in front of me, pulled over and told all of us to pull over. I asked what was wrong he replied "You know what!!!". Then he asks for our license and registration. As I was getting my stuff out this biker came down and preceded to tell the cops that we had ran him off the road and were driving three side-by-side up the canyon . Basically lying out his ass, half of us even signaled when they went around the bikers(there were 6-7 that we passed going up, only one had a problem). Ninty percent of the way up we were stuck behind other cars going under the speed limit. The cops checked all our stuff and when they finished with you you had to go, you couldn't wait for each other. Nobody got tickets they just yelled at us for being bad people.

Ahhhh....Sweet memories. That was a great day. Good tan, lots of fun, and civil disobedience what more could I ask for? Thanks alot for that ride. Sorry that I could not make it to Sundays meet. I had a last minute shoot come up. Let me know when the next one is and I will be there with bells on.

Quote of the day: "They specifically mentioned that damned flashy car up front and ypour yelow car!!!!" Spoken like a true gentileman by the wonderful Salt Lake Sheriff who stopped all of us. (the 'flashy' sedona red car and my yellow car were the 2 only NON blue cars pulled over, go fugure that we were mentioned for a description of the perpetraters)

I did not realise that both of you guys got nailed too, sorry. Another yellow one!!! Really, It was not me. I wonder if Nate wade got rid of its yellow automatic, of if it was the one I ordered from Mark Miller and it came in. (The yellow one I got was not the one I ordered, but since I was on the top of the list I got the option to pick it up) So can anyone tell me how Sunday was???

Thumbs up

Sounds like you guys had some fun...I didn't find out about it in time. I just moved here too, and picked up a rex from mark miller subaru. I've seen a blaze yellow sedan twice..(once downtown and one in sugarhouse). Also saw a blue sedan downtown and a bunch of 2.5's around. Hopefully I can make the next meet.

Sugarhouse definetly seems to be the place to be, I am actually in the process of looking for a place up there, since most of the people my age that I have met live there. I have been temporarily shacked up in midvale since I got here from NY - it kinda blows with the exception that I am right near the bottom of big cottonwood. Take it easy...and keep an eye out for a blue wagon!

Holy Crap, I'm from Buffalo too. Well, actually Orchard Park, just outside Buffalo.....small world huh?

Sorry I missed the meet, and my poor participation Sunday. I think I will go buy a damn SUBARU hat or something, just to stand out a bit.

Well, I am currently living in Holladay, hopfully getting a place in SugarHouse or the University area soon. Having issues with the pet situation.....why doesn't anyone allow for pets?

On a side note, a friend of mine from Eugene Oregon is moving here soon, like 2 weeks. He is an Audi owner, and he has been in touch with the Audi club of Utah. It seems they get together every month. What would you all think if we combined the clubs? More people, the cheaper the track out in Toole will be to rent. Plus, you all get to flog some A4's on the track

Just a thought.

Off to get a job and apartment

Too bad I'm moving soon. I have another friend out here from the Buffalo area, what makes you people move to Utah?

So who is going to organize you slackers when I leave?

Hey Ibis, were you at the race Sunday? I saw a black RS with a roof rack pull in but I was out working.

Also, I would be up for combining clubs I love Audis the only catch would be that Audi guys sometimes are a little more pretensious (sp?) and may be unwilling to let us tag along. Has your friend been in touch with an Audi guy named Bruce? I know Bruce comes racing all the time and has a few Audi GT coupes.

Yup, OPHS class of '94 here. I moved from OP to Atlanta for a while, then here for the snow, then to Eugene so my girlfriend could go to a good Law School. She wants to practice law here, so we came back.

My friend, Lawrence, from Eugene has a 2001 S4. I honestly believe a group consisting of Audi's and Subarus can get along. After all, we are all car people. I'm sure there will bad seeds, there always is. Treat em as you want to be treated , and I think all will work out for the better.

I was at the event Sunday. I showed up way late. I was waiting to hear back on some apartments and a job I applied for. That seems to be the adgenda for most of my days now. I think things are getting close though, for both employment and a place to live

Sorry I missed your run Scooby Slack, your ride sounds pretty mean rolling on by. Its not that quiet on the outside. Just right if you ask me. A good sleeper.

As soon as I get in touch with some Audi Club members, I will pitch the idea of a AWD car club and hopefuly they will go for it. Then we could meet every month or so. The more active the better eh?

When is the next SCCA event? Is there a website?

mmm, local events...

I'm all for hooking up with the Audi guys, i've been an Audi fan for a long time, loved the old Sport Quattros, 5000 Qs, the S4 and the mother of all station wagons, the RS4.

380hp, 6speed, wagon, red....

JC is sending me some stuff, it better get here before the 17th or, well, i'm gonna be REALLY pissed (even though it's free).
