i went to chambers bay a few times last year, but didn't find a good spot to take photos. maybe i'll ask for a permission next time since the spot looks great in your photos.

That's a big statement, good to hear since I owned a 2011 and while I missed the good it had so much rough edges that I just couldn't ignore it anymore.

Hey quick question...were you there to see him wrap the roof? I have a shark fin antenna also and it's not going anywhere (mounted)...did he take it off or did he cut a hole and wrap around it then wrap the antenna separate?

Take it off.

Remove the 3 clips in headliner, pull headliner down slighty, remove bolt holding fin on.

Lookin good, dawg. Are those Conti ExtremeContact DW tires?

It looks like you got them pretty clean in some of the pictures - what did you use to get that waxy release agent stuff off? I bought a set and they are freaking caked.

Yea they are the DW. Actually I still have all the waxy crap on there too. Just can't tell from the pictures. Maybe some tire cleaner? LOL

I didn't drive much on the stock (~300 miles).

But I think it's the same or softer now. Due to the DW though. It's the most comfortable tire in its class.

The stock tires are stiff with no sidewall flex. The DW has more even in a smaller profile.

You thinking of painting the calipers? Or swapping in supertones? I think the red needs more red!

Nice job! Now am definitely wishing I had ordered in Feb.

Painting calipers is the automotive equivalent of proposing marriage, lol, it proves you are committed because its a lot of work if you DIY.

Thanks border!

Yea I have though about both hella horns and painting the calipers. I think I'll do the brakes black. They rear are super tiny. Would look dumb red I think.
