As for LATCH, the government mandated it so kids could also enjoy gymkhana and autox. From Britax's About LATCH page: "LATCH is required on car seats and in most vehicles manufactured on or after Sept. 1, 2002, to make car seat installations easier." If you poke around, there really is a video of some guy doing a gymkhana with his daughter in the back. She was cheering him on.
Thanks for answering those two questions! I hope others don't mind answering some of the other ones and people find the questions helpful.

I'm also curious about the stock sound system. I've decided I'm not going to spend money on the upgraded system because I'm not a big audiophile but I still listen to radio occasionally and maybe some tunes from my phone if I'm in the mood.

How did you get rid of the orange reflectors in the headlights?

I believe it's just the angle. The rest of his pics still have the orange reflector.

Tint them windows. And I agreed with the guy that said the stock rims aren't pretty. Every '15 rex needs rims and a drop (NOT hellaflush FFS) ASAP.

That was a paint.net mod to see how it will look once I decide to do a whiteout or pain the headlights.

I'm ok with the stock rims but will switch to some nice Enkei's or Konig etc rims with all-weather tires early or mid summer

Any prelim thoughts on the CVT in the WRX? Nice car, BTW!

Tried to help with a few questions...

How do the LEDs compare to HIDs in terms of color and projection at night? Are the LEDs daytime running lights like on an Audi?

Can the trunk fit a set of golf clubs without putting down the seats?
Yes

Does the multifunction screen time your acceleration in terms of seconds to 60 if you wanted to rip off some 0-60 runs?

Does the leather feel like good quality or cheap leather?
It feels nice to me

Does the 8-way power adjustable seat have a memory function?
Don't have a power seat - did not want it

What is the best way to break in a WRX engine?
Change/vary revs and speeds etc, don't redline it

Since Subaru says you can use regular unleaded instead if premium what performance is lost when doing so?

If you could do one modification under $500 what would it be and why?
Hottune with Ecutech - improve the dynamics of the car

Does the WRX have the LATCH system for car seats?

Does the regular non-HK radio sound decent?
I have the upgraded kickers with sub-woofer and it sounds great

Subaru redefined CVT for me with this WRX. I test drove many cars with a CVT tranny and this is nothing like any of them. Quick response, you can "feel" the car and the power (most CVT's don't come even close to that), the car is FUN to drive! I am very happy with it and am sure the more I drive the more I will love it.

This is the upgraded kicker subwoofer. The one on the rear deck is Harman Kardon.

Cool to hear. I know and respect that there will be a lot of die hard MT people that will avoid a CVT in a sports car like the plague, but I'd love to give it a shot. Probably have to wait until 2017 though...

Oh god, it's still the same awful Kicker subwoofer as from the previous model.

Its also the exposure of the camera. To your eyes it would not look so purple
