I did a bit more research on this... Looks like there's multiple definitions of H16, and while the bulbs may be the same the important difference is the base. For this car, we need a PGJ19-3 base as opposed to the 5202/9009.

Anyone know if shift knobs are compatible between the Wrx and sti now that the Wrx is 6 spd?

Looking to get a new knob.

Thanks!

^I wonder about that because don't you have to pull up on a notch right under the shift knob to go into reverse?

I ordered a WC Lathe Werks shift knob for my WRX (which should be at the dealership next week). I used the option for the 2014 STi since the new WRX's are 6-speed with reverse lock to the bottom right so it should match the engraved shift pattern and support the pull-up for reverse lockout. I don't see why it won't work, but I'll let you guys know if it doesn't.

Shift pattern:

246 R

The plastic ring that you pull up on is separate from the shift knob so the only thing preventing a STI knob from fitting a WRX is if the thread-pitch is different.

I highly doubt this is the case seeing how the part number for the short throw shifter kit is identical between models, but I don't know if anyone has confirmed.

Anyone with a STI in central MD wanna swap knobs real quick to see? lol

thx for the info, i'm adding it to the bulb type seciton in bold.

It would appear the owners manual is WRONG

Now I gotta find me some hyper-white bulbs cuz the factory piss-yellow bulbs aren't cutting it for me.

The STI 6 speed shift knobs do fit the current WRX. I tested it out.

I wrote Subaru asking them for some clarification on what bulb I'd have to order to replace the fog light bulbs. Their reply:

"We appreciate you taking the time to email us. Subaru recommends that you only install genuine Subaru parts that have been tested and designed for your vehicle. These are available for purchase through your local Subaru dealer. They will give you the pricing and availability. If there are any problems with bulbs purchased from your dealer or with your vehicle, please contact the Parts and Service manager immediately."

Great...thanks for the help, SOA.

Just to provide my own answer to anyone wondering.
The liscence plate relocation kit by grimespeed fits fine.

Also the factory plate holes on the bumper are the Japanese spec 8.27 inches apart but they are circles instead of squares. This will cause issues with the current liscence plate deletes like Perrins without modification.

I am noticing a few differences between the stock 15 headunit and stock 14 head unit. 15 has HD radio and the bass seems fuller/deeper.. The sound is still weak and they moved the tweeters to the front of the dash by the windshield which is poor placement, but I am finding the 15 sound to be slightly more tolerable than the 14.

Still upgrading speakers and adding an amp though...

Really curious to know the answer to this as well. Anyone see a 15' with the rear quarter under spoilers installed? Trying to find a picture that isn't a super close-up of the rear. This > http://subaruonlineparts.com/subaru-...er-p-3008.html doesn't show me much

Nope unfortunately there was some type of delay in production.

I ordered the full lip kit in FEB after I placed my order and when I picked up my car they told me the ETA on the sideskirt lip and rear lip is August.

Which sucks cause I had already paid for them.

I will post pics as soon as they arrive.

Good to hear, My hope is that the kicker speaker/tweeter upgraded speakers I added to my order with an added aftermarket HU will sound good for my ears.

Seemed like the best place to ask:

The WRX 6MT...

Is this the same 6speed that's in the STi? (Without DCCD), or is it more like the "weak" 5MT with an extra gear slapped on?

The 5x114 hubs...

Again, are these the same stronger hubs/bearings that are in the STi? Or are they the WRX sized bearings with just a larger bolt pattern?

Sorry if these questions have been answered somewhere in the other 2015 threads.
